Procrastination at it's finest...

Wow... it's actually been YEARS since I've posted, so I'm not expecting too much traffic. BUT by some strange sequence of events, I manage to gain some followers, I feel the need to explain that life is a journey. This journey has many highs and lows, whether we are talking about finances, emotions, or weight.

I've reread many of these posts and at first, I was going to either delete this entire damn blog OR delete several of the posts. Some of them are embarrassing. MANY of them are "restart declarations". Heck, in 2011, I was posting while medicated... those are interesting. Then I decided to just pick up where I left off, because it's my life... the highs and lows.

I want to start writing again. I want to start sharing my recipes and my thoughts and ideas. Maybe I can inspire someone to get to better place; maybe I can help someone feel so not alone. Here it is...

Hi! My name's Tee and I am mom. My kids call me a Pampered Chef, partly because I do a significant amount of the cooking, even though my hubby is a professional chef and partly because when they were little, I sold Pampered Chef. I still LOVE their products and use them daily, but I've pulled away from the sales.

I am currently a Physical Education and Health Teacher at a local high school, and an indoor and outdoor Track and Field Coach. Prior to heading down this path, I was a Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Lots of things led me to the point and I wouldn't change any of it.

I have always struggled with my weight and I have feeling, that struggle will remain until I part. I'm happy and proud to announce that hubby joined me on my quest to once again achieve a healthier weight in Feb 2016. That has made such an impact on my journey. We are constantly planning meals, sharing ideas, and figuring out ways to incorporate some of our love of food into our love of life.

This picture is from July 2017. We were headed to an AFC (American Culinary Federation) event and OMG the food is always amazing, as. you would imagine. I felt awesome in this little form-fitting dress with a rather seductive v-neck front. Definitely out of my comfort zone!

But we didn't start this! Heck, between the 2 of us, we've lost a rather large person. Chef Hubby is down about 100lbs and I've been maintaining at almost 75lbs (65 WW pounds). We weren't always this smoking hot (sarcasm) but we've always been in love. Married almost 16yrs! With 2 beautiful daughters, who just might be the death of me. They are, however, best friends and I wouldn't trade that for the world.

These are some before pics of us. Chef Hubby does many many fundraisers, educational cooking shows, etc and this was one image from 3-4 yrs ago. I don't ever remember him being that big, but there it is...

And then there's my wedding picture. I don't remember ever being this big either, but there it is!

So as you can see, we have made a lot of changes. We started taking big vacations. We started meal prepping for each week. We both have our own fitness journeys. We are both trying to make a difference! If you want to see what else might happen, feel free to stop in and check for recipes, updates, motivational thoughts, or general ramblings.

Have a great night! I'm going to settle in for the evening.
